2000 Trial for Tangled

Wed 24 January 2018

With a couple of solid runs last week at Meydan we head into this Thursday with just the one runner. TANGLED takes his chance in the 2000 Guineas Trial which is held over seven furlongs on the dirt. This will be the horses first go on this surface but he has been placed twice in Group company over this trip. ‘He is in great form and has settled in really well. The dirt is a big unknown but we will never know unless we try. He heads there well clear in the weights but he needs to handle the surface. Sean knows him and so I hope he can run a big race.’

KHAFOO SHEMEMI And GEORGE WILLIAM both ran well last well. The former finished a good fourth and looks like he would appreciate a bit further. George William was doing his best work late in the piece and with that run under his belt should be right there next time.
