Campion Triumphs

Sat 27 May 2017

Another two year old winner was had at Bath yesterday in the shape of CAMPION. Owned by Rockcliffe Stud, she was having her third career start. She ran very well last time in a Conditions Race at Salisbury and this was a nice step up for her. ‘She is a nice filly and the race worked out well for her today. She moved nicely on the front end and picked up well when challenged later on. She should come on again for that run.’

INNER CIRCLE was an unlucky second at Haydock. He lead everywhere expect on the line. He had every chance but just couldn’t quite hold off the late charge of the eventual winner.

Todays’ racing is from up and down the country, with 18 runners heading to five meetings. You can read Richard's thoughts on his Stan James blog via our twitter page @rhannonracing
