Richard Hannon Racing is pleased to announce that we have a new Assistant Trainer starting this week.
Tom Ward, 25, has moved back to the UK recently having lived in Australia for 2 ½ years working as Assistant Trainer for Godolphin under John O’Shea. Tom described his time working with Godolphin as “an invaluable experience,” but felt that the opportunity to move back to the UK and work with Richard Hannon was too good.
He left Godolphin last month on a high with a winning treble at Randwick on his final day.
Before his time down under he gained experience in both Europe and America having worked for the likes of Darley, John Ferguson, Alain Royer Dupre, Francis Graffard and Kieran McLaughlin.
He has settled in well and looks forward to the year to come.
