Hollie Produces Surfa Right On The Line

Wed 08 November 2017

SURFA ROSA managed to finally get his head in front under a well-timed ride from Hollie Doyle. She repeated her tactics from a week ago on Tomily coming from last to first. The horse travelled well in running and got a lovely run through on the inside to take up the lead. ‘She gave him a lovely ride and he looks like the penny is finally starting to drop. He has run well in the past but he looks now like he is getting the hang of things. He will continue on the all-weather and hopefully pick up a few more prizes.’

SOTOMAYOR was an unlucky second at Kempton. ‘He did everything right but just got done on the line. He didn’t have enough time to respond but should be winning very soon in light of this effort.’

Today’s action comes from Kempton and Nottingham. TOMILY is the sole representative at the later and appears to be in a very good frame of mind. ‘His win last time was very impressive first time up having been gelded. He will be right there again today.’ Four runners head to post at Kempton and DOTTED SWISS and MOTOWN MICK look to have live chances.
