Horses in fine form as Ouzo wins at York

Fri 09 October 2020

OUZO bounced back to his best form when dropping back to one mile at York this afternoon to record his fourth career win for Martin Hughes and Michael Kerr-Dineen. Given a positive ride by Kieran O'Neill he led over three furlongs out and stayed on gamely to win by a neck.

THANK YOU NEXT also ran a superb race for Middleham Park to come second in the Godolphin Lifetime Care Oh So Sharp Group 3 at Newmarket. She has run consistently well all year and this was another good step up in form. SHINE FOR YOU also ran eye catchingly in the same race to come from a long way back to finish third beaten just 1 3/4 lengths. She is a lightly raced filly that is improving all the time and looks to have a promising future.

We have another good chance later this afternoon with ANNA NERIUM at Newmarket in the Darley Pride group 3. She is in fine form and will relish the softer underfoot conditions so we are hopeful of another big run.
