Natural wins on debut

We had a big weekend of racing coming from Epsom. The team has some solid results with some promising two year-olds and placing in a group race.

Friday afternoon started with the Woodcote Stakes and 2 representatives of Richard Hannon went to post in the shape of De Bruyne Horse and Campion. It was the Middleham Park horse De Bruyne Horse that came out on top in a convincing fashion under the top jockey Ryan Moore. 'He has always been a laid back individual and even in the preliminaries at Epsom, showed a great demeanor. He looked to get lost coming down the hill changing leads a few times before asserting his authority late on. The son of Showcasing will now head to Ascot with the Coventry being the main aim.'

On Saturday we saw the debut of NATURAL at Doncaster in the fillies novice stakes. She was quickly into stride and travelled easily on the front end and never really had to come off the bridle to win. 'She has always been a very nice filly and we have just waited for her to strengthen up before making her debut. She has plenty of speed and a lovely action to suit. The plan will be to head to Royal Ascot to the Albany all being well.'

Back at Epsom on Saturday in the Diomed stakes Richard had two representatives in Kool Kompany and Oh This Is Us. Neither of them had much luck in running but both ran well and are two horses to have some fun with this year.
