Oh This Is Us on the Meydan track

OH THIS IS US had his first run at Meydan where he was very unlucky to get beat. He showed a lot of tenacity and strength, but couldn't quite get the gaps in the final furlong. He travelled sweetly throughout and quickened up impressively and was only beaten a head and a nose for third. With more luck he would have probably got his head in front. 'He has really thrived in Dubai and I expect him to be able to run just as well next week in a similar race. He should have won last week but I was very impressed with his effort. He will have this run next week and then more than likely head home after.'

TUPI was our other runner representing us at the Dubai Carnival. Not a lot went to plan and he got too far back in a slowly run affair. He just struggled to quicken when they turned for home. 'He had a bad draw and ended up wide and back and that was detrimental to his chances. He will come on for the run and Pat didn't overly ride him so I think he should be in good shape for Qatar this week.'

GHAYAAR is also coming over from England to run in Qatar and looks a decent animal after his racing last year. 'He has done really well over the winter and should be plenty straight enough for this kind of race. He couldn't be in better order and I would expect him to run well. TUPI could also run a big race and so I am looking forward to the week ahead with OH THIS IS US in Dubai as well.
