Thursday Double

Fri 24 July 2020

Etonian and owner Julie Wood

We sent three runners up to Pontefract yesterday and it was good to see them all run well. WHISPER NOT stole the show by being the most impressive winner of the day for owner Mr Michael Pescod. Allowed to make the running for the first time, he relaxed into a good rhythm and made all to win unchallenged by a spectacular twenty lengths under Sean Levey.

Closer to home, at Sandown, ETONIAN brought up the double by winning impressively on his racecourse debut for long standing owner Julie Wood. He was given a patient ride by Pat Dobbs and had to wait for a gap inside the final furlong - once in the clear he quickly powered clear to win going away by a cosy three and a quarter lengths.

We have a busy day tomorrow with seventeen runners accross four meetings so it will be all hands on deck. We have plenty of good chances so hopefully we can bring home some more winners. Good luck to all connections.
