Tiggy Wiggy

TIGGY WIGGY, champion two-year-old filly of 2014, during which her six wins included the G1 Cheveley Park Stakes, was back at Newmarket yesterday on a one-way ticket, making a big splash at the Tattersalls December Mares Sale when making 2.1m Guineas.

Praising the Hannons - "they did a very good job and she was not only a very fast filly but a very good one" - MV Magnier, who secured the winning bid, promptly declared that Tiggy Wiggy would be heading to Coolmore for a date with the mighty Galileo.

Tiggy Wiggy, who also finished third in this year's 1000 Guineas and was a credit to her owners, Potensis Bloodstock, Chris Giles and Merriebelle Stables, was hugely popular with everyone at Herridge, and Richard Hannon said:"She was a superstar for us and we wish Coolmore all the luck in the world with her. She could not be visiting a better stallion than Galileo."
