Etefaaq Makes All

Fri 30 June 2017

A couple of smart performances rounded off a successful day on Thursday. The first of those was by ETEFAAQ who was having his second start in a race at Newmarket. He travelled on the front end the entire way and picked up really well when asked in the final quarter mile. ‘He needed his first run and has come on plenty for that experience. He is a nice colt who has shown plenty at home. This was a solid performance today and he has done it a touch cosily. He is going the right way and he should come on again for the run.’

At Newbury TIG TOG was also having her second run and ran very promisingly into second spot. She was settled towards the rear of the field but stayed on well in the closing stages to only get beat by a head. ‘She has always been a nice filly and she will be winning her novice very shortly. She looks like a filly that could progress into Listed and Group races later on in the year.’
