Majeste takes his chance in the Listed race

CHESTER FRIDAY
The lightly raced son of Acclamation, MAJESTE takes his chances in the Listed Dee Stakes. ‘I won this race last year but I am coming here with a horse that has lost his way a bit at home. He has developed well over the winter but off his work it is suggesting he wants further. He ran no sort of race at Newmarket and so I will need to see how he runs before deciding where we are with him.’

TOMILY has plenty of speed and should have no trouble dropping back to five furlongs. ‘He has been running very well on the all-weather and went close in the finals. He appears in great shape and with Ryan Moore in the saddle he could run a big race. The ground won’t matter too much with him and he is drawn well.’

ASCOT FRIDAY
A nice start to the evening with a breeze up purchase in the shape of OUT OF THE FLAMES, a daughter of Showcasing. ‘She arrived in good order and has shown all the right signs on the gallops. I can see her running a big race and am hopeful she can overcome any inexperience’.

GETNA has been unlucky not to have won a maiden yet, ‘she lightened off a bit there earlier on in the year but I am much happier with her condition now. She has been working better and I am hopeful she can get off the mark. It is a tricky maiden to assess as on paper it doesn’t look to hot but I am sure there will be some improvers in there.’

KHAFOO SHEMEMI won very convincingly at Kempton and appears to be a very good horse. ‘Ryan gave him a lovely ride that day and he has come on again for the run. He is a horse we have high hopes for in the future.’

Two horses take their chance in the last race in the shape of INNER CIRCLE and PROCURATOR. ‘This looks a tricky handicap and there are a few unexposed sorts in there. My two have both had the run and should strip fitter and if everything goes right they could run big races. It is a tricky race to assess.’
