GOODWOOD – TUESDAY

1:10 Fillies’ Handicap
Separate (Sean Levey)

She’s quite high in the handicap but is unexposed over a mile and been in good form at home. This sharp track should suit her running style and hopefully she can run a nice race.

1:45 Handicap
Walkinthesand (Pat Dobbs)

This is a competitive handicap but I thought he ran very well at Newbury last time and the good ground will definitely be in his favour so I certainly wouldn’t be writing him off at a decent price each way.

2:15 G2 Vintage Stakes
Fountain Cross (Pat Dobbs)

He didn’t disgrace himself at all behind Method Newbury last time and the step back up to 7 furlongs will help. He’s got experience around this course which is crucial in a race like this and I can see him going well at good odds.

2:45 G2 Lennox Stakes
Beat Le Bon (Pat Dobbs)

He loves it around here as his success in the Unibet Golden Mile last year will testify and he’s come on massively for his first run at Ascot. This is a typically good race but he goes there in great form, has been working well at home, and I think he has a right chance.

3:45 Handicap
Well Done Fox (Silvestre De Sousa)

He is a very pacey horse so the sharp 5 furlongs here should be right up his street. His last couple of runs haven’t been that inspiring but if the ground is quick he has a squeak.

4:20 Maiden
Riffaa Wonder (Sean Levey)

He’s a well bred son of Kodiac who has done everything right at home and has been away to work so is pretty streetwise. We’ve got a good record in this race and I expect this colt to go very well.
