It has been another action packed weekend of racing for team Hannon, with runners representing us at a number of racecourses around the UK. Over the bank holiday, three two-year-olds have crossed the winning line in first position taking Richard to above 60 wins so far this season.

Grizzel, a daughter of Kodic, who greatly improved from her first start, took the Hilary Needler Trophy at Beverley Racecourse on Saturday. The Group 3 Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot looks set to be the filly's next assignment in a couple of weeks time.

Repton became Richard's second winner of the day when taking a Novice Stakes race at Salisbury Racecourse. The son of Zebedee improved plenty for his first run and the plan now is to aim for Royal Ascot in June.

Groupie, a two-year-old daughter of Requinto, became a winner on her debut when taking the opening race at Windsor yesterday. The filly had not really been tested at home, so to win in such comfortable fashion was welcomed. She is set to be a great member of the Hannon team for the season ahead, with five furlongs believed to be her best distance.

The end of May brings about a successful month for all at Richard Hannon Racing and leads into what is undoubtedly one of the most exciting months of racing in June, with The Derby and Royal Ascot all to look forward to. Humphrey Bogart will be Richard's sole representative in what looks to be a wide open running of the 2016 Derby.
