He'Zanarab Kicks Off The Week

Tue 19 June 2018

With the biggest meeting of the racing calendar looming upon us HE’ZANARAB has got the week off to a good start on the eve before Royal Ascot.

Making his debut under Sean Levey for owners Douglas Pryde and James Fyffe, he settled towards the rear of the field before coming through on the rail to win going away by a length and a half.

The race was comprised of horses who had run previously, and they went quick in the early stages which would have suited the late challenge under Sean.

“He can be quite keen at home and was doing everything else right, so I let him do his own thing and he settled well. He’s a nice horse.” Sean said after the race.

The son of Footstepsinthesand was purchased for £30,000 at the Goffs UK Premier Sale at Doncaster by Peter and Ross Doyle.

He looks sure to improve off the back of this run and will be a nice horse over a bit further in the latter end of the season.
