Saturday Four Timer

Sat 12 September 2020

AL Dawodiya

CHINDIT's win in the Champagne Stakes at Doncaster was the start of an across card four timer as RIFFAA WONDER, AL DAWODIYA and LITTLE ROLLRIGHT all came home in front.

Riffaa Wonder justified favouritism to record her second career victory in the sprint nursery at Chester. Given a front running ride by David Egan she won easily by two and a quarter lengths for KHK Racing.

Al Dawodiya recorded a second career victory in the hands of Sean Levey for Al Shaqab Racing at Lingfield on the turf course. Having pressed the leader from over three furlongs out she toughed it out to come out on top and win by half a length.

Little Rollright gave us winner number four on the day when landing the fillies novice over 7.5 furlongs. Having run well at Salisbury on debut she went off 10/11 favourite for the Lingfield contest and duly delivered coming home a length ahead of the second never fully extended. There will be plenty more to come from this two year old Dutch Art filly for owner/breeder Rockcliffe Stud.

The day was however overshadowed by the devastating loss of Wedding Date (Middleham Park) and What An Angel (Radley Racing Club) and our throughts are with all connections.
