Toormore

Ascot

TOORMORE has the assistance of Tom Marquand who has recently lost his claim. He is going well at home and I thought his run at Ascot was top class. With none of the top three in that race running here, he should be very competitive even with his 4 pound penalty.

Newmarket

VARUNS BRIDE was very green on her first start. She has improved plenty but this looks a tougher race on paper. I expect her to run a nice race.

KREBS CYCLE has been been very consistent all year. He seems versatile regarding the ground and he should run well again up in trip.

PALAWAN has been disappointing this year so far. Hopefully with the ground drying out and the fade he has dropped a few pounds in the handicap this can help him be more competitive.

MR SCARAMANGA ran a blinder in the Chesham. He only got going late and picked up really well. This looks a similar race on paper. He should be very competitive again.

EMELL ran a nice race at Goodwood two starts back, but didn't handle the soft conditions at Ascot. He continues to work well at home, so I hope he can defy his price.
