Another busy day of racing tomorrow with runners at four meetings. Goodwood hold their Group 2 Celebration Mile where OH THIS IS US takes his chance. ‘He was in York during the week but as soon as the ground went soft he never would have been comfortable. This looks a nice opportunity for him to pick up some prize money. He has won at Goodwood and appears in good order and so in this small field I would be hopefully of a place.’

Other chances at Goodwood include BILLESDON BROOK in the Group 3 Prestige Stakes for the Pall Mall Partners. ‘She is lovely filly and won impressively here in the nursery last time. She was placed in Listed Company before that and appears to have come on. This is the ideal race for her and she should take all the beating. She has had plenty of experience and I would be hopeful of a big run.

At Newmarket TUPI is in to take his chance in the Listed Hopeful Stakes. ‘The ground at York would never have suited him as he can’t seem to get a foot hold on anything with the word soft in it. This looks an ideal opportunity although he has to carry a small penalty, especially after his last time third in the Group 1 Prix Maurice De Gheest.’

At York there is OUT OF THE FLAMES running in the Listed Roses Stakes. ‘I ran her last week but she hated the ground and I hope by tomorrow the ground will have dried out sufficiently for her to run well. She is a nice filly and has plenty of speed and if things go her way she is there to run a big race.’
