We are currently recruiting for the following full-time positions to join our successful Wiltshire horse racing operation:
Full Time Riders
Applicants must be experienced in riding racehorses and able to ride to a high standard. Richard Hannon Racing are now fully booked for sponsorship; therefore, applicants must have full permission to work in the UK. There will be regular opportunities to travel horses to race meetings, and overtime is paid at time and a half. Breakfast is provided during the week for full-time staff.
Second Travelling Head Groom
Applicants should have proven experience travelling racehorses, overseeing horse welfare at race meetings, and supporting the Travelling Head Groom with day-to-day responsibilities. All applicants must hold an HGV Class 2 licence.
Estate Maintenance / Gallops Person
Responsible for general estate maintenance, upkeep of the gallops, and supporting the smooth running of the yard. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous. A tractor licence and telehandler ticket are required.
Excellent basic wages are offered, along with pool money where applicable.
Accommodation can be provided for a minimal weekly fee.
