A Quartet Of Winners

Mon 25 October 2021

The end of the flat season saw us come away with four winners over the weekend. On Friday, OH HERBERTS REIGN showed a likeable attitude to stay on well under Ryan Moore to take another competitive Nursery at Doncaster. He has progressed a lot this year and with any luck he will be winning many more races as a three-year-old. Later in the day, Sean Levey partnered with Rockcliffe Stud’s AMERICAN KESTREL to take home a nice maiden at Newbury on just her second appearance. She clearly enjoyed the ground and looks a nice prospect to take into next year.

Saturday saw some good performances at our local track, where GISBURN returned to the scene of his dominant win earlier in the season to make it two wins at Newbury, a track he clearly loves. It was great to see him power clear and show us that he retains all the ability he showed us back in the spring.
He was followed by a gallant third in the Group 3 Horris Hill Stakes by TACARIB BAY, who ran a blinder considering he had been off for five months. He’s the one to take out of the race and we’re hoping that he will be a horse that competes for top honours in 2022.

To cap off a great weekend the improving WINDSEEKER got his head in front on the line at Chelmsford for King Power Racing. In what was a tactical race, jockey Sean Levey was seen at his best when galvanising the horse to get up close home and the duo look set for more success.
