Light Up Our World

With just a hand full of runners on Saturday and the team busy buying yearlings at Tattersalls this week, we are starting to see signs that the season is nearing an end. We have three runners at Newmarket tomorrow, the first runner is FLYING NORTH who won well on her previous start at Ascot and is stepping into nursery company. ‘This is a step up from what she has been doing but she appears to have shown the necessary improvement from her last start. She is a lovely big filly who will be even better again next year.’ EUGINIO takes his place in the Listed Zetland Stakes over a mile and a quarter. ‘There shouldn’t be an issue with him getting the trip and he is a horse who is still learning plenty, he will be even better again next year. I would be disappointed here if he couldn’t sneak a place.’ The final runner comes in the form of LIGHT UP OUR WORLD. ‘She is owned by Derek Boocock and has run some very game races this year, winning the Distaff at Sandown followed by a very tough performance in the Thoroughbred Stakes at Goodwood up against the boys. She is in fine form at home and I would be very happy if she could finish in the first four.’
