Euginio Wins At Doncaster

Fri 15 September 2017

A nice winner was had at Doncaster yesterday with EUGINIO taking the mile and a quarter handicap under Andrea Atzeni. The son of Fastnet Rock was having his ninth start of his career and proved a decisive winner in the end. ‘He got there plenty early enough and I think he won a shade cosier than the margin suggests. He has been in great form this season and remains very lightly raced. He will improve no end with another winter under his belt and will be a group performer for us next year.’

Today’s action again comes from Doncaster and Richard has sent three up there. DE BRUYNE HORSE and TIGRE DU TERRE take their chance in the Listed Flying Scotsman both for Middleham Park Racing. ‘They are two nice horses who have both been competitive at Listed company in the past. De Bruyne Horse has had plenty of racing but remains in good form. The easier seven furlongs will suit and he should run well. Of the two Tigre Du Terre is our best chance. He ran very well last time at Salisbury and has kept on improving. He should be bang there in ground that I don’t think will bother him.’
