Dapperling
What a way to start July with four winners in one day!
Liv My Life kicked off the winning streak as she landed her first career win at Chester under a great ride from Sam Hitchcott for owners Ian Wight, Teresa Lyons & Partner. She is a two-year-old daughter of Derrinstown Stud’s consistent sire Awtaad.
Next up was Lexington Knight, who delivered once again, as he got his head in front at Newcastle under Neil Callan. He has been a brilliantly reliable horse for the Middleham Park Racing team and it is always great to see so many of the owners in attendance on race days. This was the fifth career win for the son of Night Of Thunder.
Our Lingfield double began with Pink Lily continuing her winning relationship with our very own Alec Voikhansky for owner-breeder Lord Carnarvon. She is by Sixties Icon and has had a flying start to this year’s season so far.
Our fourth and final winner of the day was Dapperling, who broke her maiden for owner Mrs Fitri Hay in battling style under Alec Voikhansky. This two-year-old daughter of Dandy Man was bought at Goffs UK by Peter & Ross Doyle and will improve a lot for this run.
