June So Far

Starnberg

June has started off well for the teams here at Herridge and Everleigh, with seven winners so far, including three juvenile victors. Spirits are high and it is incredibly rewarding to see everyone’s hard work pay off.

Our first two-year-old that rode to success this month was Packard, who delivered a smart run under Kevin Stott and secured his first win at Lingfield Park Racecourse for Amo Racing. The next day Rosallion confirmed expectations and surged home to win on debut at Newbury Racecourse under Sean Levey for owner-breeder Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum. Son also stormed to the finish line under Pat Dobbs that day and secured us a double at Newbury. It was a great win for long serving owner Julie Wood, who was of course in attendance on the day. Son’s victory also brought in back-to-back winners for two of Darley’s first season sires Blue Point and Too Darn Hot.

Our other winners included Lexington Knight, who was back to winning ways at Doncaster under Dane O’Neill for Middleham Park Racing. Thurloe Thoroughbred’s Lulworth Cove stayed on strongly to win at Lingfield Park Racecourse under Sean Levey and Starnberg stretched clear to win at Nottingham Racecourse with Alec Voikhansky taking the ride for owner Mr Mohamed Saeed Al Shahi.

A Hannon 1-2 was enjoyed through King's Code’s victory as he got his head in front with Sean Levey on board, closely followed by stable mate Outrace under Tyrese Cameron.

The countdown to Royal Ascot is now on and we cannot wait to see what next week brings!
