Mojo Star En Route To The Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe

Fri 01 October 2021

One of our top performers of 2021 Mojo Star will take his chance in the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe on Sunday, with an aim to throw his name into the mix to be considered one of the best horses on the planet. After fantastic runs in both the Epsom Derby and the St Leger, two of the premiere races on the British racing calendar for three-year-olds, he has nothing to prove to us, but we believe that there is tremendous scope for improvement as he will be lining up to make only his seventh start of his burgeoning career. No doubt he will appreciate if the forecast rain does come down in Longchamps, but he has proven he can go toe to toe with some of the market favourites already this campaign, so there is no real reason to suggest that he will not be in the mix when they cross the line at around ten past three on Sunday afternoon. It really would cap of a sensational year for the horse and his owner Kia Joorabchian, the man behind the immensely successful Amo Racing, who have seen their colours lifted in numerous contests already this season, but likely none will provide the excitement of landing the prestigious l’Arc de Triomphe.
