Tomily Streaks Clear

Tue 03 May 2016

A sunny day at Brighton and two runners on the card for Richard Hannon. TOMILY went off the 1/3 and looked to win in convincing still. Tom Marquand was positive from the outset and asserted his authority on the rest of the field. 'He is owned by Des Anderson who resides in Hong Kong. He is a nice horse by Canford Cliffs out of Cake who we both trained. He has built in his first two runs. He can now head for a few novice races and possibly nurseries later on in the year.' Commented Richard. The other runner KISMET HARDY failed to tag along early and just kept battling to the line. Tom said after the race 'he was done for toe earlier but did stay on late. Perhaps up to a mile and a quarter he should be right there.'
