Aperoll Delivers Listed Success at Sandown
Aperoll continued her progression with a thoroughly deserved victory in the Listed European Bloodstock News EBF Star Stakes at Sandown yesterday.
She took a while to settle but stayed on strongly to secure the biggest success of her career to date. Having shown plenty of promise earlier in her campaign with a win on debut at Newbury followed by a very close third in the Chesham at Royal Ascot a few weeks later, we're thrilled that she's been able to add a black-type to her record, confirming herself as a filly with considerable ability and class.
The victory continues a good month for our team, and she has now firmly established herself among our yard's leading fillies. Huge congratulations and thanks go out to her owner Mrs Johnny de la Hey and all other connections involved with her. We're looking forward to seeing what else she can achieve this season and in seasons to come.
