Arc weekend in Chantilly for the first time and runners for Richard Hannon all over the country including the one in France on Sunday. COULSTY is the sole representative of the team in the Prix de la Foret under Sean Levey. 'He is obviously up against it on the form book but he is in rude health at home and we would be delighted if he could snatch a place. He has won a Group 3 over in France and he seems to mostly run well over there.'
Saturday's action comes from Ascot, Newmarket, Recar and Wolverhampton. BLACK CHERRY runs in the first which is a fillies and mares Listed race over seven furlongs. 'She has run two of the best races of her life this year at Royal Ascot and Pontefract and if she is back to her best she could run very well here. BURNT SUGAR has been a very hard one to win with but did run well here in the Wokingham. He needs everything to go right for him if he is to figure here.'
The Redcar Two Year Old Trophy and Richard has two chances. 'REPTON was disappointing last time on softer going but back on top of the ground and after his solid form earlier in the year I hope he can figure here. LEXINGTON SKY is up against it on form and may struggle to get in the first five, but the prize money is good and I would be happy if she could get some of it.'
'The Arc is a very competitive affair as always but Postponed looks the form horse and back up to his ideal distance he should be hard to beat. The Japanese raider is a bit of an unknown, as he won well the other day at Chantilly but it's hard to rate his form across. It will be a great weekends action.'
