Annastarzy Brings Up a Half-Century of Winners
Annastarzy became the yard’s 50th winner of the 2026 season as of 31st May, capping a superb afternoon and maintaining the yard's excellent momentum heading into the summer months.
Reaching the 50-winner mark before the calendar turns to June is another testament to the consistency of the team at Herridge and Everleigh, with winners flowing steadily since the opening weeks of the campaign.
Annastarzy’s success was a fitting way to bring up the landmark, rewarding connections with another determined performance and ensuring the yard continues to build towards the busiest and most exciting part of the Flat season.
This year has already produced plenty of highlights, with several exciting horses making their mark. A Bear Affair emerged victorious in the Brocklesby at Doncaster, Aramram clinched the Cammidge Trophy Stakes, and Linwood made all to take the Spring Cup at Newbury in April. We also have some exciting babies who are yet to start their two-year-old campaigns, so watch this space.
As ever, the success is the result of a tremendous team effort. From the staff at home to the jockeys, owners and everyone behind the scenes, every winner is a reflection of the dedication and hard work that goes into preparing the horses each day.
With Royal Ascot fast approaching and an exciting team of horses waiting in the wings, the first 50 winners are hopefully just the beginning.
