River Prode and sean levey
It was a successful start to the weekend last Friday as we sent three runners to Chelmsford for two races and came away with two victories!
Breaking their maiden tag was RIVER PRIDE who was given a peach of a ride from Sean Levey off the front, and he kept her up to her work to deny a decent enough field and land the prize at a massive 33/1. She is another nice filly for owner-breeders Denford Stud, who we have had such a fruitful partnership with over the years.
On the second race on the card, we had two representatives and the shorter in the market MARITIME RULES ended up streaking clear of the field under a joyous Tom Marquand. He’s been improving ever since his debut and it was a testament to the team at home as to how he has progressed both physically and mentally over the last few months. Hopefully he can go onto win many more races for his owner Ziad A Galadari.
