Carderock (Pat Dobbs)
He shaped very well on his first run at Goodwood, over five, but the step up to six furlongs will definitely suit, as will the better ground. With expected improvement from his debut, I’d be hopeful of a very bold show, but this does look a decent race.
Wild Clary (Sean Levey)
He’s by Dark Angel, out of the very smart Chrysanthemum, who has been going nicely at home. Like plenty of ours, he’ll come on for the run, but he definitely has a bright future.

Sheila’s Paradise (Sam Hitchcott)
He ran very well on debut in a good looking Maiden last time, and he’s stepped forward plenty since then. I’m not worried about the drop down to seven, in fact I think it will suit better, and he won’t be far away.
Al Kuthban (Pat Dobbs)
She’s another by Dark Angel who has been away to gallop and is doing everything right. Whether she’s quite ready to win first time out, I’m not sure, but she has ability.
Lyraisa (Sean Levey)
She’s shaped encouragingly on both starts and will have no problem winning races, but I think she’ll be more effective once handicapped.

St Pancras (Sean Levey)
He’s from a family we know well, notably Windshear, and this looks a good place to kick off. We took him away to gallop, so he’s pretty straight, and I’m looking forward to seeing what we’ve got.
Sijjaal (Pat Dobbs)
She’s a gorgeous filly by Sea The Stars who has been going nicely at home and is starting to look better in her coat. She will certainly come on for this but won’t disgrace herself.

Houstonn (Pat Dobbs)
He’s already got a mark (of 92) but I think he’s more than capable of winning a Maiden and the step up in trip is a massive plus. I’ll be disappointed if he’s not capable of going extremely close.

Easy Dancer (Sean Levey)
He steps into Handicap Company for the first time and, on what he’s shown so far, I’d like to think he’ll be pretty competitive in a race like this.

We’ve got a handful of runners at Newmarket where Approved Star looks to have a great chance in the Novice at 2:53.
