Geneva Convention
A nice double on the day at Windsor with SKEAPING finally getting his head in front and GENEVA CONVENTION doubling his winning tally. Skeaping was running in first time blinkers and having been gelded it looked to confirm the promise he made earlier in the year. He travelled sweetly on the front end and never really came off the bridle under a quiet Pat Dobbs. The second winner was the son of Clodovil owned by the Powells and William Drew. He was having his fourth start and having won well at Ascot in a nice maiden earlier in the year confirmed that promise here in his second nursery start. He was well away and to the fore under champion jockey Ryan Moore, he never looked like getting headed. He sat on the rail in front and kicked nicely up to the line. 'I have always really liked this horse and know that he is doing it all on raw ability. I will more than likely put him away now for the winter and give him time to mature.'
Today's action comes from Brighton and Kempton, and Richard has five runners. Four in nurseries and one in a handicap. 'I think we have a few chances namely SWAG and INNER CIRCLE in the nursery at Brighton who should both perform well.'
