Heredia lands her first Listed win
What a week for Team RH!
We have had 9 winners in the space of seven days, with our two most recent ones both racing to success at Haydock Park during their Betfred Rose Of Lancaster Carnival.
Mafnood proved what he’s capable of on Friday, as he landed a decisive first career win under a great ride from Jim Crowley for owner-breeder Sheikha Hissa and the entire Shadwell team. This two-year-old son of Kingman has been on our radar since he came in to us, so we are incredibly happy that he was able to get his head in front on only his third time of asking!
Our next winner, Heredia, rounded off the weekend in impeccable style. She was just too good for her opposition, beating them by 3¾ lengths. She absolutely bolted up in the Listed Dick Hern Stakes under a brilliantly comfortable ride from Sean Levey. Heredia has now stepped up her game into Listed company for her owner-breeders St Albans Bloodstock and also brought in the 100th Stakes winner for Yeomanstown Stud’s stallion Dark Angel.
