Cut A Dash (Sean Levey)
We kick off the Royal Ascot meeting with Cut A Dash. He won very well at York and created a good impression on his debut, travelling strongly before pulling away in the closing stages. Sean likes him a lot and we think he's a very smart colt. He's doing everything right at home and we are confident that he should be able to hold his own in stronger company.
5.35pm - Wolferton Stakes (Listed)
Haatem (James Doyle)
Haatem returns to his favourite playground where he aims for a hatrick this year in the Wolferton Stakes after his previous successes at Ascot in the 2025 Wolferton Stakes (Listed) and the 2024 Jersey Stakes (Group 3). He is a big, mature horse and enters the race with a proven liking for the trip. History suggests the race often favours horses aged 4 and 5 with proven class over middle distance, a profile that Haatem fits perfectly.
Persica (Sean Levey)
Persica ran a great race in the Diomed Stakes (Group 3) at Epsom last week to be frustratingly beaten by a whisker. He's a really lovely mover at home and I'm very happy with him at the moment. He should run a very good race.
