2:30pm Chesham Stakes (Listed)
Aperoll (Pat Dobbs)
This is a significant step up in class for Aperoll, but I was very pleased with her nice win on debut at Newbury the other week. She will have come on from her experience at Newbury and Royal Ascot provides a great opportunity to confirm her ability. She's a big filly for her age but is doing everything right at home and I'm very optimistic that she will run a good race.
4:50pm Britannia Stakes (Heritage Handicap)
St Anton (Sean Levey)
St Anton is a smart colt who has massively improved in his 3yo campaign. He has now won his last two races on the bounce and we go to Ascot with good hopes that he'll run a solid race.
6:10pm Buckingham Palace Stakes
River King (Pat Dobbs)
River King has an excellent prospect for this race. He's ran seven times and never been placed out of the first four, with two wins on his record. He has a great attitude to his work and his most recent run and win at Newbury tells us we're doing everything right at home. He's definitely a horse on the up.
