2:30pm Albany Stakes (Group 3)
Dark Issue (Pat Dobbs)
Dark Issue is a nice 2yo Dark Angel filly who gave us a good impression on her debut run at Goodwood in May, charging clear in the closing stages to beat two more experienced horses. She's obviously open to improvement and the Albany will suit her well. She's got a good partnership going with Pat who rides her again so I feel she should have good run.
Rollthedicebaby (Sean Levey)
A smart progressive filly, I've been really impressed by her so far. She won last week at Goodwood and seems like she really has her head in the game which is a pleasure to see. A Group 3 is a big step up but she knows what she's doing and I'm looking forward to seeing her run a good race.
3.40pm Duke of Edinburgh Stakes
Nightime Dancer (Sean Levey)
The Duke of Edinburgh Stakes is a very competitive race and always attracts a deep field of competitive stayers, but Nightime Dancer looks to me the type who can be competitive in this company. He has proven stamina and a straightforward attitude at home which should stand him in good stead around Ascot's demanding track.
5.00pm Sandringham Stakes
Assaranca
A progressive filly who had her last win at the beginning of May, she arrives to the Sandringham in good shape. She continues to do everything we ask of her at home, hopefully she'll give a good account of herself.
6.10pm Palace of Holyroodhouse
LeBron Power
She won a few nice races in her two-year-old campaign last year, but hasn't been up to her usual standard this season. However, she will have come on from her runs this year and looks in good shape at home.
