The daughter of Best Terms managed to go one better this time at Newbury under James Doyle. STAR TERMS, owned by Mr Robert Barnett was always to the fore and once asked to go about her business stuck on really gamely up to the line. ‘She is a lovely laid back filly who just does enough. There will be plenty more improvement to come from her and I feel she is going the right way. This trip looked ideal for now but there is no reason why she cant step up further in time. I will speak with the owners and we can come up with a plan. The Prestige Stakes at Goodwood is an option for her.’

AJRAR made a very promising jump into Listed class yesterday to run a good second. She travelled nicely through the race and once she got room gamely stuck on to the line. ‘She won very nicely last week at Lingfield and I thought we may as well step her up in class. She passed the test with flying colours and I feel she has the ability there to win some black type eventually.’

Today's action comes from Ascot and Newmarket, with some nice chances at both meetings.
