Three days, three more two year winners!

Sun 16 May 2021

Our two year olds have really hit the ground running and Thursday, Friday, Saturday saw us have three more juvenile winners.

LUSAIL made a winning debut at a massive 28/1 up at York on Thursday for Al Shaqab Racing under Andrea Atzeni. Despite being slowly away and running a little green under pressure he came through to win comfortably by 3/4 of a length and looks to be a very promising sort. Another winner for Mehmas who is turning out to be quite the sire.

With the benefit of a run under his belt GISBURN put his experience to good use and won in superb style at Newbury on Friday for Martin Hughes and Michael Kerr-Dineen. Stepping up to 6f he made all and stretched away easily to win by six lengths under Pat Dobbs. He is definitely one to watch as the season progresses!

Lockinge day at Newbury on Saturday saw DUKEBOX win for the second time for J K Powell Racing. Having won on debut at Kempton over 5f he saw out the 6f at Newbury really well to get up in the dying strides to win by a nose under Ryan Moore. This son of Holy Roman Emperor has a great attitude and we look forward to seeing what more he has to offer throughout the summer. Congratulations to connections!
