Tupi Takes Fourth Place

Wed 07 February 2018

TUPI made a very encouraging seasonal reappearance last week where he finished off strongly to grab fourth place. He was very fidgety in the stalls and ended up missing the break. He took a while to get into stride, but really got going in the closing stages. ‘I was very happy with his run and feel that it will bring him on nicely for his next race. He will run in a similar event and all being well he should be able to go very close.’

TANGLED is back in action this week after what was a rather below form run last time. He had his first ever run on the dirt and having missed the break never went a yard after that. ‘He had looked ok on the dirt, but it was a bit of a risk to take.’ He didn’t have a hard time and pulled up great from the run. The Meydan Classic Trial looks the ideal opportunity for him as it's back on the turf. He is a smart colt and if he runs anything like he did back home he should run a big race.’
