Hannon Trained Two Year Old Filly By Dragon Pulse

As the two year olds slowly step up their work, we take a look into what first season stallions are making an early impression.

CASAMENTO, a son of Shamardal (the same sire as Lope De Vega), who won the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster, looks to have a lovely bunch of two year olds in the Hannon yard. Richard commented 'He is in for a very exciting season ahead. His progeny are strong, athletic and very straightforward'. Darley look to have another very exciting stallion prospect on their hands.

A horse trained by Richard who won the Flying Childers at York, SIR PRANCEALOT, who was up and running early on as a two year old, taking the National Stakes at Sandown on only his second start. His two year olds look like they will be following in similar footsteps. 'His first crop look very precocious and seem to know their jobs.'

DRAGON PULSE, the lightly raced son of Kyllachy, who's standing at the Irish National Stud, looks another stallion with plenty to look forward to. 'I couldn't be happier with his first crop, they have done everything we have asked. They may not get running till middle of the season, but there is plenty to like about them.'

The final stallion we will talk about is BORN TO SEA, a brother to Galileo and Sea The Stars, by Invincible Spirit, who ran second in an Irish Derby. 'His offspring have stood up really well over the winter. They have done their work with ease and have a lot of class. They look like they will be running towards the second half of the season'

With a solid group of two year olds for the year, things are looking exciting for the 2016 season.
