Lord P on the gallops

We are pleased to say that our horses all sold well at Tattersalls February sale and we wish their new connections the best of luck. Meanwhile the team at home are extremely busy and we are very grateful for all their hard work - our two year olds preparations are well under way with the majority cantering away and walking through the stalls.

Although we haven’t sent out too many runners lately we were delighted to see Lord P break his maiden at Southwell racecourse on the 30th January for the Coriolan Partnership. This was his first run in a handicap and he won comfortably under our own apprentice Thore Hammer-Hansen. He runs again later tonight at Kempton and we are hopeful that he can follow up with another win.

Fox Power also ran very well in a class 2 conditions race at Wolverhampton yesterday for King Power Racing under Silvestre De Sousa. Having been handy throughout he led inside the final furlong and was unlucky to get headed near the line. He is qualified for the All-Weather Championships at Lingfield on Good Friday which could be an option for him, alternatively we might wait for The Lincoln at Doncaster on the Turf.
