Persian King x Aurora Gold (2022)
Yearling sales season has officially started and we cannot wait to bring in the next generation of racing stars.
The Arqana August Sale was a brilliant occasion once again and we successfully purchased two yearlings through Peter & Ross Doyle’s expertise.
The first one is a smashing colt by first-season stallion Golden Horde out of the Mastercraftsman mare, Qamka. He was consigned by Anna Sundstrom’s Coulonces Sales. His sire, Golden Horde, competed at the highest level and we cannot wait to see what his progeny produce on the racetrack.
The second purchase was for one of our existing owners and is an outstanding colt by Persian King out of the Frankel mare, Aurora Gold. He was also consigned by Coulonces Sales and is from his sire’s first crop of yearlings, who was a multiple Group winner in France and retired to stud in 2021.
It is exciting to support these new stallions and we look forward to seeing how their progeny progress in their training.
Next up is the Goffs Premier Yearling Sale at Doncaster next week. We have had tremendous success at this sale in the past, so we will be on the lookout for our next rising stars.
